Jennifer and Henry were awesome and the venue they got married at had so many opportunities for amazing photography. Calamigos Ranch in Malibu is nestled in the Santa Monica mountains and has so many options and grounds to choose from. Jennifer and Henry chose the part of the Ranch where they got married right in front of a beautiful waterfall! It totally fits their vibe. A big shoutout to  Sana and Maurice who I absolutely adore. They’re lovely people and practically walking billboards for my business. They referred my business to Jennifer and Henry and countless others. I’m super grateful for all of my clients who refer me to their friends, family, and co-workers. Not to mention my amazing referral program and the discounts and perks I offer, so its a win-win for everyone. So make sure if someone is coming in from your referral that they mention you by name so you can get a little treat from me and my business.

My crew including my second photographer Ryan, my assistant Maya, and I started the day at the bride’s parents’ house where Jennifer was getting her hair and makeup done. Her bridesmaids all wore matching floral and white robes so we got a bunch of pictures with everyone and the bride. The bride got her dress, heels, and jewelry on and it was time to load into the limo. The bride’s wedding dress was tight until her thighs and was covered in lace. It had a sheer open back with pearl buttons down the spine. Her bridesmaids wore beautiful gold dresses and looked fabulous.
Once we got to Calamigos Ranch it was time to do the first look. We got Henry who looked super handsome in his white lace coat and had him stand at the end of a hallway. We had Lauren walk up and tap him on his shoulder and Henry had a huge grin plastered on his face when he saw her. He had custom ray-ban sunglasses and looked super cool. The bride had a fishnet short veil that covered about half of her face and looked beautiful.

After the first look, it was time for the ceremony. Henry’s parents walked down the aisle alongside him. His mom wore a black dress with gold lace trim and looked very Avante Garde and his father wore a sleek gray suit with a cute pale blue bow tie. The bride followed soon after with her dad and a HUGE bouquet that draped down her body. They had a meaningful ceremony and the venue made it even better. Calamigos Ranch had this ceremony site in front of a beautiful waterfall nestled in a mountain. The rows of chairs sat under twinkle lights and draped linens. They exchanged vows and rings, kissed, and were pronounced husband and wife.

After the ceremony, we took formal photos of the bridesmaids and groomsmen with the bride and groom in front of a beautiful ranch house at Calamigos Ranch. The bridesmaids wore shiny gold dresses and the groomsmen wore timeless classic black suits. The ring bearer, a little boy, wore an all-white suit to stand out. After some bridal party pictures, we went out and explored Calamigos ranch and took the couple to take some high fashion- intimate photos. As you can see the images came out really breathtaking and Lauren and Terone weren’t afraid to get down and dirty like some other couples are. Some couples can’t even kiss in front of the camera without nervous giggling but Lauren and Henry were all-in and not nervous to get intimate and the results were well worth it.

Once the sun set we headed back to the reception and it was time to party! Their guests knew how to get DOWN on the dance floor. They did their father-daughter mother-son dances and their parents were emotional wrecks. They did their cake cutting and their cake was a beautiful three-tiered simple white cake with red roses and eucalyptus along the edges. Henry had to take his coat off pretty quickly because it gets hot when you’re dancing!  They also did their bouquet and garter toss and all the guests gathered around and fought hard. After the guests danced for a while it was time for my crew and I to pack up and leave. We said goodbye to everyone and we had a great time.

I’d love to give a big thank you to everyone who made Jennifer and Henry’s wedding day possible. These events truly take an army and the more competent people are, the easier the day is for everyone. The Calimigos Ranch staff was helpful friendly and professional and always so kind to the vendors. A big thank you to Porto’s (one of my favorite bakeries on earth) who made the cake. A huge thank you to Sana and Maurice for the referral. And thank you to Jennifer and Henry who hired me and let me and my crew be a part of their big day.
