Kiana and Bobby’s Sweet and Elegant LA Arboretum Garden Wedding

I shot Bobby’s sister’s wedding (Ilse) years ago. Her wedding was infamous for it’s sexy dress and stunning Trash the Dress Session. When I heard that her brother was looking into a wedding photographer I could not wait to chat with him.

Bobby is a web designer, and like most artists had a vision for his wedding. He wanted a clean, modern, subdued, and classy affair.

His suit was in dark navy color paired with a flower patterned pink modern tie and dusty rose boutonniere … the absolute vision of class and elegance.

Kiana, is soft… softer spoken, but strong and beautiful. Her dress was conservative but elegant, soft in movement and so romantic. It was not quite a mermaid but had shape and elegance. During the ceremony it was paired with a very long train that was removable.

The wedding was held on a hot scorching day that was blessed with the possibility of rain. Clouds covered the sky in a cloak of light shade. The Los Angeles Arboretum was kind to us that summer day.. thank goodness it didn’t rain.

It was held at the the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, 127 acres, is an arboretum, botanical garden, and historical site nestled into hills near the San Gabriel Mountains.

There were hundreds of gorgeous locations to shoot at in the arboretum. If I had all day it would not have been enough time to explore it.

Luckily the couple did a first look and we were able to take advantage of that time and shoot at more locations.

A live band played at the reception with much love and fun and ended with beautiful naked cake being cut. Much love to the bride and groom. I know their their wedding day was just the beginning a a perfect marriage for this prefect pair.
