I have known Jen for over 15 years. She assisted me for a little while and I shot her and her son when he was a baby. Her son and my daughter are around the same age so that’s how I know it’s been a long time. I’m shooting their upcoming wedding in Arizona and so they came down here to do their engagement session. They chose downtown Fullerton for the urban downtown rustic look. I had a lot of fun with them. It was my first time meeting Mason which was very nice. Her parents decided to come to the shoot and Mason’s mom came along. They all went out to dinner afterward and we all just had a really great time.
I really liked the blues, oranges, and grays that they decided to go for in their photos. I think they looked so cute and truly matched the color palette and vibe of downtown Fullerton. I’ve taken pictures in downtown Fullerton so many times that I practically know it like the back of my hand. We started with photos ate the huge wooden door that serves as the entrance for the Villa Del Sol Hotel. I absolutely love this beautifully well-made huge door and my clients always love how their photos look when they get them back.
Jen and Mason are sooo much in love. The kind of love that young lovers have and it was so sweet to see. We did a lot of catching up and walking around all while getting some really cute photos out of it. There are some really cute areas I like such as the bench you can see in some of the photos and the lush greenery along pathways and on the brick walls. I was so happy that they brought so many outfits too! Sometimes couples only bring the outfit that they come in which is fine but when you bring an outfit change or two then you can get more versatility in your photos and it’s almost like getting multiple photoshoots in one. Then you can post them or use them for different profile pictures.
Jen is such a kind soul and I wish nothing but the best for her and her future husband. I can’t wait for their Arizona wedding and am so honored to be a part of their journey together. I’m so thrilled to see Jen after all these years and that she’s the amazing bubbly person that I’ve always known and that she’s found her person.
