When I first went to Schabarum park I knew I needed to shoot a model in a beautiful dress and a gorgeous large hat above the park in the hills overlooking the main areas. I needed somebody as beautiful as spring is beautiful. I wanted somebody youthful and gorgeous and so I thought about my client Lisette Esparza ‘s daughter…. Amy. I originally wanted to shoot her when all of the spring flowers were out but the dress that I ordered took so long that the flowers were almost gone but it didn’t make any difference because she was so inspirational to my photo shoot that I don’t think it would have mattered where I was shooting she would have brightened any location. She was the embodiment of spring and it’s natural beautiful youth. So I immediately called my client Lisette and asked if I could shoot her daughter of course she was thrilled at the idea and luckily so was Amy. This is one of my favorite photo shoots ever and perfect for college and high school graduation portraits.
