Hi guys, I’m back with another YouTube tutorial video. This one is all about newborn lighting, for newborn photographers. I would take notes if I were you! There is quite a lot of information. I wasn’t able to take a video but I took photos of my set up and some of my process for shooting newborns here in my home studio in Anaheim California, Orange County.
In this video you are going to learn how I set my lighting up. Exactly what kind of lighting I use and the equipment that I use. I’m going to teach you what lenses I use. Also, how I set up my fabrics and my backgrounds. I’m going to teach you why it’s not a good idea to use natural light or window lighting. I’m gonna show you that studio lighting is more consistent with much better control over color, contrast and shadow drop-off.
Finally I will show you some of the images that I shot the day that I did this set up.
