This was definitely one of the craziest weddings I have ever shot
You would never know that Ashley and Rory were so rambunctious and fun if you met them the first time. Ashley, a schoolteacher, with an angelic face has so much hidden behind those rosy cheeks. Rory, though a bit rambunctious, is absolutely insane.
Rory and his motley crew of crazy groomsmen started the day with complete insanity. They were totally fun, loud, silly and insisted on taking a bunch of photos with their vintage guns and what I am assuming were rifles. I know very little about guns.
Ashley and her fun and crazy bunch of girls were up for pretty much anything. I shot them all strewn about the vintage saloon in this beautiful Yorba Linda private estate. This wedding, I knew was going to get crazy.
As you can tell from the images below Ashley wore beautiful blingy pink stilettos which she quickly swapped out for cowboy boots. The girls wore soft pink dresses and the boys wore vintage inspired grey suits. A nice change from the traditional black tuxedos. The flowers were soft pink and baby’s breath was dappled everywhere. It was so beautiful. Simple yet elegant decor was used for this cowgirl farmhouse wedding in Yorba Linda.
One of my favorite features of the wedding besides the stunning bride and groom was the Yorba Linda private estate where we shot and where they had their wedding. Where else are you going to find a late 1800s style saloon. They had all these amazing props all over the place like a wagon and beautiful grounds. You could also walk up a little hill and shoot beautiful sunset photos overlooking the grounds.
