Wow what a crazy day! So much fun, so much going on… I mean just check out how many bridesmaids, groomsmen and padrinos (sponsors) there are in this wedding! It was such a great day! My team and I had the best time! I love huge weddings with tons of crazy going on! Makes you feel ALIVE! I was definitely looking forward to Crystal and Anthony’s wedding and it DID NOT disappoint. They brought it. My team and I, which included my second shooter Jr and my assistant/daughter Maya, headed to Ayres Hotel in Fountain Valley and shot some getting ready photos and detail photos. And of course the bride Crystal looked ANGELIC! Her huge and gorgeous Ball Gown made her look so timeless and beautiful! I LOVED her beautifully understated classic hair style that was so Jaquie O.
Before heading quickly to the church, St Joseph on Minter in Santa Ana, Jr spent time with the boys in their room for a bit and also helped me shoot details in the lobby. We went to the famed Noguchi Gardens in Costa Mesa to shoot their creative formals. Crystal had an in to shoot there! Wow that was so much fun it had been a while since I shot there!

The sky that day was beyond beautiful. After taking pictures of the huge bridal party we sent them off to do our more creative couple shots which included climbing a parking garage and a Porsche parked on the top. We made poor Crystal climb a short wall in her humongous dress to get the photos of them in the parking area at Noguchi.. love the rooftop look! Also made her get up on the Porsche to get a few photos. They were both totally DOWN to do anything and THAT IS MY FAVORITE TYPE OF CLIENT.. Anthony kept giving me this look like.. You are one crazy bitch! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! He was wearing some pretty tight pants and we had him on the floor kissing Crystal and on top of the wall.. LOL poor guy. I tortured him. But the IMAGES ARE WORTH IT!!! And I know they think so too.
After the creative formals we went to Forty Martyrs in Santa Ana.. right in the area where I grew up and I had never seen this hall. OMG I loved it and the gorgeous chandeliers were to die for!!! It was a perfect venue for a perfect wedding! The couple had a beautiful marbled cake, a whole color coordinated dessert bar, and the head table spelled out AMOUR in giant letters. A perfect word for the love filled day. The most breathtaking part of the night was when the entire dance floor filled with fog and HUGEE sparklers lit up behind the couple during their first dance. It was crazy elegant and felt entirely magical. You could feel the love radiating off of them the whole day and I continue to see them and shoot their family on a regular basis!
