What a perfect day for a wedding! I have been looking forward to Jocel and Ed’s wedding for quite a while. These people are the sweetest, kindest, most lovely kind of people and their wedding was busy but so full of love. A huge thank you to Darr and Helen Tran Eicher who referred me to this lovely couple who reinvigorated my soul and love for shooting weddings.
We started the day at Jocel’s sister in law house in Temecula for the getting ready photos. The beautiful house was a great backdrop for the detail photos.
Afterwards we went to the venue; Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens in Fallbrook which, as you can tell from the photos, was a gorgeous estate. The vast greenery and huge lake was just a perfect background for this wedding. I could not think of a better venue for these gorgeous photos. Luckily for all of us it was not a scorching day, it was actually mild and beautiful, by the time the ceremony came around it was quite pleasant.

We photographed and my videographer shot video of Jocel putting on her dress and then some photos of her and her girls and everyone looked absolutely stunning. After this we shot Ed and the guys, who of course looked as handsome as ever! After they were all done getting ready we were off to the wedding ceremony. I could feel the anticipation and emotion in the air as we walked over.
Ed and Jocel both looked gorgeous and the ceremony was soooo special because both of them could not contain their emotions. Jocel literally cried the entire day and even had me in tears. Before Jocel even walked down the aisle Ed was already tearing up and having a hard time containing his emotions. I always think this moment is the sweetest and was so beautiful to watch such lovely souls get married. Two little girls welcomed the bride in their gray dresses as they threw flowers before her. Even as Jocel walked down the aisle she had to stop half way down her long walk to bawl her eyes out.. It was soooo sweet. Jocel walked all the way around the lake up to her groom and it was so elegant. I don’t think I have been this choked up at a wedding in a while. It was so sweet and after I’ve been shooting weddings for this long I rarely get affected like this. The ceremony was an all white outdoor ceremony at the Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens and was breathtaking.
After the ceremony we shot some family photos and a few photos of the bridal party. We went into reception and shortly afterwards right around sunset we went back out and shot Jocel and Ed at the perfect time of the day. I love golden hour. The sky was pink and soft and the light was milky…so perfect. I was so impressed with Ed and Jocel and their respect and love for eachother. It definitely re-ignited my passion for weddings and it was such a special day.

Their colors were gray and blue with lots of succulents… perfect for a California wedding. Jocel wore a gorgeous off the shoulder wedding dress that was form fitting with a mermaid flared end. The couple had an emotional first dance and you could feel the love in the air. After dinner they cut their succulent decorated cake and I headed straight for the AMAZING dessert bar that had everything from macarons and cookies to a full ice cream bar with all the toppings you can imagine. After this they did tear-jerking speeches with family and bridal party guests as the couple bawled and hugged everyone. They did a bouquet and garter toss and there was a super cute moment where we got everyone attending to get in and pose for one big photo! This is a rare thing to do at a wedding but it was super special in case not all of your loved one’s photos can fit in the album. They danced into the night when I was done and I had an amazing time.
A huge thank you to the staff at Grand Tradition Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens the staff was the friendliest staff and sooo helpful! Super professional!!!!
