You all know I have been with Josh Thomason for endless years. Sometimes it feels more endless than other times. In all those years he had never referred me to anyone. He has had co workers that were getting married, lots of co workers that have families or were having a baby… and yet nothing.. Even though I am an extensively published photographer and kinda badass… nothing.. Then finally this last year he started referring people to me.. hooray!! I have finally started to meet some of Josh’s co-workers… and here is one of them. Grace and Frank work with Josh and I had SUCH A GREAT TIME shooting them. They were hilarious and had me rolling the whole time. Grace .. OMG GRACE that girl can move in front of the camera. They were both naturals but Grace really shined!!! She was spontaneous and adorable… sweet and meek and then sexy.. she really knew how to shine in front of the camera and that is RARE! They needed very little directing (though I am happy to direct anytime). They had a bunch of super cute outfits that they changed into and really made the photoshoot sparkle.
They brought two big red heart shaped helium balloons that made for some artsy creative pictures and I got to have some fun in photoshop making them look absolutely perfect. For this shoot we went to Downtown Los Angeles and shot photographs all over the damn place. We went to Vista Hermosa Park, took some street photos, and some really cool theater on Broadway! It was a day in early June so you can imagine it was a little warm but fortunately not too humid and the sun went down not too long after shooting, for that golden hour magic. It was a lovely day and I had such a blast shooting this couple, especially with how easy they were to shoot! They’re also both Dodgers fans so a downtown LA photoshoot was just perfect for them and they even brought some baseball jerseys lol.
