Little Baby Cruze comes in for his Newborn photos

Little baby Cruz came in a few weeks ago for his newborn photos. He was born on 5/10/22 at 1:11pm weighing 7lbs and 2 oz at about 19.5 inches long. He was born via a scheduled c section at 37 weeks so he was so his first few days on earth were very sleepy. His mom tells me that he is a very good eater and a super chill baby which matches the family’s vibe since they live in Long Beach, California. Cruz has one brother and two sisters. His big brother Eric plays for the San Francisco giants minor league, which explains his baseball outfit you see below. He has two older sisters, one is 16 and she is Cruze’s favorite baby sitter. The other is 3 and who you see pictured with him. Her name is Lily and she is Cruze’s little helper and can always find his missing binkie. Mom plans to bring him in for his one year shoot and I can’t wait!

He was a dream to photograph. Barely moved except for feedings. He came in with his parents Monika and Tyler after I had just shot Monika’s best friend Ashley’s wedding at Los Caballeros in Fountain Valley where she was a very pregnant maid of honor and her 16 year old daughter was a bridesmaid. You can find that wedding on my website as well of Ashely and Bobby’s beautiful wedding! It was really nice to see her again and invite her family into my home. She was excited to see that I offered such affordable and amazing newborn photography.

Lily was the baby before newborn Cruze came around and despite the fact that she was 3 years old we managed to get a couple of really cute photos of them both together that you can see below. Lily was very cute and insisted on watching Mickey mouse funhouse. We tried to watch Toy Story and Turning red but she said they were “too scary”. It was so cute. Baby Cruz, having lots of older siblings, is used to a lot of noise so we didn’t have to tip toe around him like the other babies and he didn’t even need the shusher to stay asleep! He was also a little gassy so we got some really sweet smiles on camera which the parents and I always GUSH over. He was a very sweet baby with a lovely family and I had a pleasure shooting them and can’t wait to see them soon.
