I have been looking forward to this wedding for so long. I knew that Stephanie’s creativity would make for a gorgeous wedding and when I heard that they changed the venue last minute to a REAL Lemon and Avocado ranch, I was super excited.
My assistant and I started the day at Limoneira Ranch in Santa Paula on a beautiful warm day in May. Steph was getting her hair and makeup ready and getting her beautiful crown and veil put on. I could feel the excitement in the air of the events to follow.
After shooting some details we headed off to Holy cross church for the ceremony where they were officially made HUSBAND AND WIFE!!!
Stephanie wore a beautiful flowing white wedding gown with opaque lace sleeves that looked amazing on her figure paired with a lace-trimmed veil that was longer than her dress and looked gorgeous trailing behind her. Her hot pink dressed bridal party was large and full of love for the couple.
Limoneira Ranch had so many fun things to do (like giant Jenga) and super cute places to take pictures from the photobooth to entire flower walls. They even pulled up in the most beautiful bus that was customized with “MIKE AND STEPH’S BEST DAY EVER” and surrounded by little white hearts. The inside of the bus was covered in colored string lights that were even more beautiful as the sun set and night fell.
They had many loved ones who unfortunately were lost before the wedding day and had many places at the venue where their pictures were placed and they were honored. Their loved ones were there in spirit and forever in their hearts.

Steph and Mike have been together since 2011 and made it official in May of 2016. Stephanie,being a Dodgers fan, betrayed her team by marrying the biggest Angel’s fan, Michael. To commemorate their love of baseball their guest book was a heart made of baseballs that all of their guests got to sign, what a cute idea!
We then shot the guys in the vast orange groves where the scent of warm citrus drifted through the air. They were such a fun group and a blast to shoot.
The speeches were tearjerking and the dancing lasted long through the night. The energy of the guests was immaculate and the love for the couple was heavy in the air.
These two deserve the best.. they are wonderful .. funny .. easy going,… brilliant people!
