When Taren called me she was as giddy as a school girl! Well the truth of the matter is that she is a school girl and she is graduating right now with a double Masters! Nothing makes me more proud than seeing my Latinas graduating from college and doing something amazing with their lives!
Taren called me a couple of months ago and told me a really sweet story…. She told me that she had met with me long ago for her wedding photos but she was young and broke and couldn’t afford to go with me. That was sooo touching! She told me that she had been following me since then and that she was so excited to hire me to do her graduation photographs. We went back and forth as to where we should shoot them and we finally settled for the Claremont colleges campuses. It’s one of the most beautiful college campus areas in Southern California.
She wanted a few family portraits also and then wanted to finish the rest of the photo shoot with her cap and gown and her double Masters hoodie.
Of course I was so thrilled to be able to photograph her graduation photos at Claremont colleges.
When I finally got to meet Taren in person I realized that she wasn’t just getting when she was calling me she was just a really giddy person.
She’s one of those people that has a contagious laugh. I got to meet her really fun mom, her parent-laws… Her kids Paul and Isaac and her super supportive and super loving husband William!
Shooting Taren’s  graduation photos was super easy she was really easy in front of the camera although she will disagree with you. She needed no photoshopping she’s just naturally gorgeous and energetic.
I thank you to Taren and her family for making the track to Claremont colleges for these graduation photographs and of course to Taren for hiring me! I hope to be able to work with her again soon!

    I do enjoy the manner in which you have framed this particular challenge plus it really does supply me personally a lot of fodder for consideration.
