The Main Master Photographer and Owner of Square Eye PhotographyWho am I ? Well I’m kind of geeky.. but kind of silly.. and a bit crazy (if you ask the people that know me.) I am a devoted mother though my daughter might disagree. I am deeply honest… to a fault. I have a deep intrinsic respect for human-kind. I value integrity, vulnerability and compassion. But that’s kinda deep! I collect vintage robots, Mississippi Delta Blues records and vintage cameras. I’m sarcastic..but with love. I’m one of those people that are really into being the best version that I can possibly be. I paint ..oil on canvas or board. Artistic endeavors come easily to me. My entire family are artists, my mother paints, my brother is a famous street artist, my other brother is an incredible artist and musician, my uncles and grandmother are all artists. I’m also learning Italian and learning to play piano, rather badly. We were raised surrounded by poets, writers, musicians and visual artists.
I believe in a life of unconditional love. A life that radiates love. I believe in living for this moment… as no other moment really exists. There are only two emotions in this universe….LOVE or fear and I choose to live in a state of LOVE.
What I do and how I do it:
I only shoot iconic moments that whisper of passing time and love. I love moments in movement. I adore …. bold, fearless, empowering images that hold in stasis, a moment of pure love. Emotional images that capture and hold your gaze! You know that moment.. those moments in your memory.. fleeting like a wispy white cloud.. a quick glance.. a small tear.. a crooked smile and laughter that makes your eyes water… those are the moments I capture.
Through communication with my creative clients, we can, together, create something SO AMAZING… SO BEAUTIFUL.. SO STUNNING... that it may just leave you in tears!
There are photographers and then there are artists. Artists are a different bunch, they hate the normal, mundane, repeated robotic methodology of what most people do. We want to break the mold, we want to move you! I WANT TO MOVE YOU! I want to be your wedding photographer!

So what makes me an expert in plus size wedding photography. Well I have been plus size pretty much my entire life. Being plus-sized often entails navigating a world that seems designed for smaller bodies, where representation and acceptance can feel elusive. The constant barrage of societal norms and media portrayals perpetuates the notion that only one body type is desirable or acceptable, leaving those who don’t fit into that mold feeling marginalized and unseen. It’s a daily battle against discrimination, whether it’s struggling to find clothing that fits well and makes one feel confident or facing judgmental stares and hurtful comments. The lack of representation in mainstream media further exacerbates this sense of isolation, reinforcing the message that plus-sized individuals aren’t worthy of visibility or respect. Despite these challenges, many in the plus-sized community I am working tirelessly to challenge stereotypes and redefine beauty standards, advocating for inclusivity and acceptance for all body types. These are my bebes. From left to right we have Miska, she’s a grunter and acts more like a cat. The newest addition to our family is the middle guy, Bastion (yes from the Never Ending Story) He is our puppy, about 2 years old. The chunkers to the right is Sookie, she’s the talker of the bunch and her ear piercing screams or something to witness. Miska and Sookie are twins from the same litter.

To me… life is beauty. My father read many Buddhist books when I was growing up so I have a very Eastern philosophy about life. I believe in unconditional compassion. I believe in being present… getting rid of the ego (a constant practice) I believe in seeing the beauty in the small and insignificant.
I also grew up around poets and artists so I drip in creativity. My mind is always spinning with cool photography ideas! I am always trying to persuade someone to come with my to my crazy photos shoot ideas… luckily I am around like minded individuals.
Being a photographer to me isn’t just a living. It is my passion. My deep seated love of loves and I will never stop doing it… until my last breath of life! Artistry is everything to me.
