Beautiful Wedding at Hacienda Heights Golf Club in La Habra | Jackie and David

Jackie and David had already been together for some years. They had a couple of kids already under their belt but they decided to finally tie the knot in a big way.
One of my favorite wedding venues is Hacienda Heights Golf Club in La Habra Heights. This wedding venue is unbelievably stunning. You have vast rolling hills as the background of your wedding. During sunset, all you can see is a Utopia of natural beauty.

And of course Krystal Canales, the coordinator there is one of my most favorite people.
Jackie and David started the day getting dressed and ready at the venue. Jackie swept her hair back in a beautiful loose long braid with wisps hanging over her beautiful face. She studied her hair with little crystal beads and her dramatic beautiful makeup with deep red lipstick was a beautiful accent to her look.

She kept her wedding florals white classic and simple. Her dress was a beautiful hugging semi-mermaid shift dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves.
Her dress was draped and lace and looked stunning for her beautiful figure.

She had quite a few bridesmaids and David had quite a few groomsmen, the whole lot was a lot of fun.
It was a particularly hot day at the Hacienda Heights Golf Club in La Mirada but we were able to keep most of the images around the property in the shade.

Hacienda Heights Golf Club has these beautiful white arches surrounding the property where you can get some gorgeous natural light photos and of course, their interiors and golf club rooms are beautiful on their own.

Of course, you can’t forget the main lobby and the beautiful baby grand black piano that sits in that area.
We shot Jackie and the girls first getting dressed and ready and their adorable blue matching robes and of course her bridal robe that said, Miss Mora.

After photographing the girls all over the grounds we then started shooting David and the boys. They all looked very handsome in their Gray suits with dark blue ties.

David is the owner of a craft beer bar so there was already plenty of alcohol going around which made it even more fun.
The ceremony site was decked out by the most beautiful flowers. I love when the florist makes a design on the aisle going up towards the ceremony area. And of course, all-white flowers all around mounted on the chairs leading up to the ceremony area and the arch was also dripping in beautiful white wedding florals.

Hacienda Heights Golf Club is one of the few wedding venues that allow for pristine non-interrupted natural beauty views. You won’t see any parking lots shooting from any direction. When you’re shooting towards the wedding arch there is nothing but beautiful trees and if you are shooting in the opposite direction you will see nature and of course the actual golf club which is gorgeous as a background.
The ceremony was sweet and emotional and David actually teared up a little bit.

After the ceremony, we took some family portraits which is standard for what we normally do.
And after the family portrait was shot some photos of the very large bridal party and then finished with some photographs of Jackie and David around the grounds. We didn’t shoot very many photos because we also did a set of photos during sunset and of course sunset is the best time to take photos of brides and grooms.

We ducked back in to take some detailed photographs of the reception before everybody got in. Krystal and her crew always do such an amazing job. The whole ballroom was draped and white semi-sheer fabric and all of the tables were decked out in silver and white. I took a photo of Jackie and David in the room before everyone else got in and then the celebration began.

They had mariachi and lots of music and everyone danced and had a great time.
About 15 minutes before sunset we ducked out to take another set of photographs. Of course, those are my favorites they are absolutely stunning. The creamy colors that come into the sky are my favorite.
And Hacienda Heights Golf Club is one of the most beautiful locations during sunset.

Once we came in we proceeded with all the rest of the formalities including speeches and dances. This was a really fun wedding and one that I will always cherish and remember.
The cake was particularly cute and custom-made by simply irresistible cakes and catering.

Mariachi Los Palmeros el Juan Manuel Macías from  Pico Rivera who provided  mariachi music at the beginning of the reception.

A thank you to Jackie’s aunt who made the dessert table.
And finally the wedding dress designer, essence of Australia.
And last but not least the wonderful Jackie and David for hiring us for photography and being just an all-around awesome couple.
